Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Heysegment LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Heysegment," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites and our reputation-management platform (the "Service"). The Service is built for agencies and the businesses they manage; it is a business tool, not a consumer product.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

3. Information Received from HighLevel and Automatic Provisioning

When the HighLevel integration is installed, authorized, or opened, we may receive information directly from HighLevel (also known as GoHighLevel), including a user's name, email address, HighLevel user identifier, company or agency identifier, sub-account or location identifiers, role and access information, installation details, approved permissions, and OAuth tokens. We may also receive the CRM, business, contact, and communications data that the installing customer authorizes the integration to access or synchronize.

We use this information to authenticate users; create, locate, and secure Heysegment accounts and user profiles; associate HighLevel agencies and sub-accounts with the correct Heysegment account and businesses; determine the scope of a user's access; maintain the integration; synchronize authorized data; and provide the Service. Installation may automatically create a Heysegment account associated with the relevant HighLevel agency or company. A user profile may be created during installation or when a person first accesses Heysegment through the HighLevel interface.

Users identified by HighLevel as having agency- or company-level access may be associated with the Heysegment account as Account Owners. Users identified as having only sub-account or location access may be associated with the corresponding Heysegment business after that location has been linked. If a location has not been linked, we may retain a user profile without granting access to a business workspace. We use platform-user identity and access information for account administration and security; when we process Client Business contact data on a customer's behalf, the service-provider terms in Section 5 apply.

Disconnecting or uninstalling the HighLevel integration does not necessarily delete information previously received from HighLevel, a Heysegment account, or a user's profile or access membership. We retain and delete that information as described in Section 8. HighLevel's own collection and use of information is governed by its privacy policy and terms.

4. How We Use Information

5. Contact Data We Process for Customers

Contact data submitted to the Service belongs to our customers and the businesses they manage. We process it as a service provider (a "processor"), on our customer's instructions, to operate the Service — not for our own marketing, and we do not sell it. If you are an end customer of a business that uses Heysegment and want to access, correct, or delete your information, please contact that business directly; we will assist them in honoring your request.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

We do not sell personal information.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit parts of the Service.

8. Data Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When an account is closed, customer data is made available for export for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized in the ordinary course.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information — including encryption in transit, access controls, and scoped credentials for connected services. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Account holders can exercise these rights by contacting us at the address below. End customers of businesses that use the Service should contact that business, as described in Section 5.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

12. International Transfers

We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (for example, by email or in-product) before they take effect. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
